Women’s Ministry

The heart of the women’s ministry at Great Divide Calvary is a passionate and genuine love for the Lord as we recieve each other and build each other up and learn to be completely satisfied with God alone. As the lover of our souls, he breaks, molds and restores us.

Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another and all the more as you see the Day approaching.  Hebrews 10:25

But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you
may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.  Hebrews 3:13

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as
in fact you are doing.  1 Thessalonians 5:11

 Ladies Mountain Bike group meets every Monday night. If you are interested in learning to ride your bike or just want to have
some fellowship outside, take a mountain bike ride with us. Katie Frink organizes and leads beginner/intermediate riders
on a local trail Monday early evenings. Sign up in the GDC kitchen to be added to the email list of where and when to meet each week.

*Women’s Bible Study is taking a break. Please join us again in October*
Spring/Summer Bible Study
The women of Great Divide Calvary meet every Thursday night at 6:30 for Women’s Bible Study.
We are learning, through a 12 week study,  to draw closer to God through deep, private worship, in His presence.
The book ‘Satisfy My Thirsty Soul’  by Linda Dillows, teaches us how to grow deeper through true worship,
which is both a specific act and a lifestyle. Join us as we learn to bow our thoughts, words, work, attitudes, will and pain, to be drawn into God’s holy and life-giving presence – the place where only God can satisy our thirsty souls!

O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you;
my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you,
in a dry and weary land, where there is no water.
Psalm 63:1
